One of the most impressive modern public buildings in Athens, the new Acropolis Museum, the most visited museum of the country, houses rare treasures from the Acropolis and other ancient Greek artifacts. Liontos & Associates conducted the construction stage structural design, complete structural detailing and participated in the testing and specialised finite elements analysis of the FPS bearings.

Kostas Liontos, born in 1956, graduated the Department of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens in 1982. He, then, established “KOSTAS LIONTOS ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS” personal business, for providing consulting and supervising services in the field of civil and structural engineering.

After a decade of working in various projects and amassing significant experience in the field, in 1987 the office acquired a legal and financial form through the establishment of the “C. LIONTOS & ASSOCIATES GENERAL PARTNERSHIP” firm. The firm employed civil engineers, architects, draftsmen and assistants and pursued activities in a broad specter of civil engineering, in many and various public and private sector projects (schools, hospitals, industrial buildings, multistory house buildings etc.).

Our Company

Liontos & Associates Ltd was established in 1998, having as an objective to provide consulting services regarding the design and management of complex technical projects. Since its establishment, the company has completed numerous projects of multiple disciplines, such as structural, geotechnical and transportation.

The company has developed and is currently applying a Quality Management System which is in accordance to the specifications set in EN ISO9001:2008 for Design, Supervision and Management of Civil Projects, as certified by the EQA HELLAS Certification Body.
