Description: Designed to cover the housing needs for Athens 2004 Olympic Games, this residence complex was constructed in an area with high seismic activity. The Olympic Village includes 336 houses with two to four storeys, with structural elements of reinforced concrete. The true challenge of this project was the cost-effective structural design, through typical sections, dimensions and details, in order to make the construction process fast, safe and accessible to many contractors.
