- Seismic isolation, through FPS bearings
- Concrete piles foundation
- Post-tensioned slabs
- Structural glass floors and facades
One of the most impressive modern public buildings in Athens, the new Acropolis Museum, the most visited museum of the country, houses rare treasures from the Acropolis and other ancient Greek artifacts. Liontos & Associates conducted the construction stage structural design, complete structural detailing and participated in the testing and specialised finite elements analysis of the FPS bearings.
